Cuts and outtakes

 The boys had their first hair cuts last week.  Finn didn't really need one, but since we were taking Kian in (who REALLY needed one) we thought we would do it at the same time.  They were very good, and Finn was content at the end since he got to chew on the comb.  Chewing on ANYTHING is high on Finn's TO DO list.                                                                 I am frantically ending the first trimester at school, planning the boys first birthday and preparing for Christmas.  I still haven't figured out the Christmas cards yet.  I tried a photo shoot for the cards last weekend and didn't have much luck.  Any tips on photographing twin one year olds?

Two years ago today.

A tiny little boy came into this world with a simple little squeak.  The rest of his time with us, was silent.  His little heart beat for about 2.5 hours though, and this tiny little boy left a huge footprint on our lives and touched countless others.

Bob and I wrote him notes to send off with his balloons, and I told Beckett that I think of him every-single-day.  I miss all that he was and all that he could have been, but I also have to thank him.  I am not really comfortable thanking him for bringing us his brothers, but in reality, if it were not for Beckett's life and death, his little brothers, frankly, would not be here.  I'm not comfortable with that because it makes it seem like his life was taken, in one of God's mysterious ways- aka his master plan, in order to give us Kian and Finn.  I don't believe God rolls like that (I respect that others do believe that way), but I don't.  I believe that it just happened...in all of its sorrow, beauty, unfairness and completeness.  It happened, and here we are today, celebrating his life, mourning his death and remembering how fragile and how mighty this universe is.

I am the Plague Personified.

 I have been sick.  Crappy, cruddy, crappy crap crap.

I think, please oh please, that I have taken a turn for the better.  I am at least no longer falling asleep while listening to people talk or while walking down the hallway, and I don't feel like my glands are trying to make a break for the border.

I have been editing photos, but I would start to bob my head and close my eyes after about five minutes in front of the computer, so I haven't been moving very efficiently. 

I don't have much of the boys (but Kian is pretty much walking now...so I promise a photo this weekend!).  Here are a couple we "tried " to take a couple weeks ago.  They were either unhappy, or the lighting was bad.  These were the 'best.'

We Voted!

  We voted, but we are not telling who we voted for....we can tell you that we didn't vote for the Anti-Christ or a terrorist, so that only means one thing...we voted for, well, I guess that could be anyone on the ticket! 

Anyway, for your future consideration, we decided that we are going to be the first tag team twin POTUS.  Finn and Kian in 2048 (or something like that...Mommy is too lazy to figure out the math.)

I am just swamped with engagement photos, family photos and of course, working full time and being a mom of twins.
