2 Hours Traffic

Knaw, chew, drool, chomp....repeat.

Perpetual teething.  Kian still doesn't have any teeth, but the kid sure acts like they are on the way. (oh and I didn't do anything to Kian's eyes.  They were THAT blue in the original photo.  The sun just caught them right.)

Finn has two teeth, but it seems like more must be on the way.

They do love Sophie, the giraffe, but more often than not, a shirt is just fine.

This last weekend had us traveling the lower half of the state again.  We spent Friday night in Prior Lake celebrating Amy's birthday.

Saturday was the annual pre-4th of July party at Brian and Rachelle's in Rochester.

The wedding was beautiful...

and it went well.  I don't have any photos to share of the occasion, yet.  It is going to take me a couple weeks to wade through all the images.  It had been two years since I shot a wedding.  I always conveniently forget just how physically taxing it is.

My parents watched the boys the day/evening of the wedding.  Bob was my assistant.  Saturday and Sunday we spent with my parents and the boys.  We went to Munsinger Gardens and Spunktacular Days in Avon.

Such somber faces.  Not sure what was up with these two, but I couldn't get any photos of the both of them smiling at the same time.  I love how they reach for each other's hands...it's even cuter when they look at each other and smile and laugh.

The summer has already been very busy...too busy.  I feel like everything is culminating on Friday, when I shoot Deb and Todd's wedding (below). When that is done, I can start my "real" summer vacation!  Today I met with a bride who is getting married next June 20th and I had a class on Moodle.  It was very exciting and completely overwhelming.  I would love to put all my assignments online and integrate my classroom with more technology...just give me a couple of paid weeks to do it and I'm all over it!

Also, in my spare time   ::muchtoo:ahem:lateatnightcoughcough::: I am working on my flash website for Vagabond Creations. I am hoping to go live in a week or two.

Last weekend the boys not only attended their first parade, but they were also in the parade for Mapleton Town and Country Days.  I always love the Scottish bagpipers and drums that show up for the parade every year...

Cha-Cha-Cha-Changes...

Sorry for the lack of updates. The last couple weeks of school are full of frustration, exasperation and celebration.  In other words, chaos, and I never have the time to get much done besides the necessary.

In the interim, we have had a lot to keep us on our toes:

• All four of us were sick.  Finn actually had his first trip to the ER (and hopefully his last).  We didn't know what was wrong with him, but we soon found out a couple days later when both my mom and I got some kind of virus.
• Finn also got his first tooth.
• We took a trip to Albert Lea to take some photos of my friend, Amy's, family (more on that later this week.)
• I took some engagement photos.
• We visited Great-Grandma on Memorial Day
• We planted flowers and did some re-landscaping (YUCK!)
• I finished up the school year
• The boys tried solids (tonight) for the first time.
• ...and last but not least, they are sitting!
