I think it fell in between the cracks of traveling, wedding processing, and running after the boys. The boys are really starting to become little forces to be reckoned with. Just today they sat for quite a few minutes watching a train show with Daddy. Just six weeks ago, they still wouldn't sit for more than a minute to watch a show on T.V, now they are starting to point at things on the screen and ask what they are, "dat" and dance until they fall down to every annoying Yo Gabba Gabba song they hear, Along with this ability to sit for a little bit, they are starting to relax for stories more consistently too. Maybe my dream of rocking in the chair while we read stories together really will come true some day. Reality has consisted of usually reading out loud to myself while the boys destroy the room.
They are also starting to talk. They are not talkers...well, they ARE talkers, we just don't know what they are saying 90% of the time. I try sooo hard to not get too freaked out over their lack of coherent talking, I know kids develop at their own pace and it really doesn't mean anything in the long run, but, well, ya hear other kids their age talking in sentences and first time mommy mode kicks in. However, they are making progress and there are quite a few things they say that at least "I" know what they are saying. Their latest favorites are "uh oh" and "all gone (ah ga)...we definitely have those two down. Today they figured out how to pull a toy over to the wall and get up and turn on and off the light switch (which then makes they other one jealous so the logical thing is to push each other off said toy), they destroyed the toy box last week and Finn bit Mommy in the belly tonight...so, they may not talk much, but they sure find new and ingenious ways to be naughty.
Well, here is mid July on:
John McCune memorial picnic and balloon release--They both wanted to ride the big girl bike.

And last but not least, I have a couple photos of the stunning Tara, a co-worker of mine, Tara and Scott were married on Aug 1 and I shot their wedding; A few days before, we did a bridal shoot, so these were taken in July as well.
