.
The last day of school for teachers at SRR culminates with a golf tournament. It is a very formal and high stakes event. I mean we are teachers (and spouses). We take the utmost pride in our events and would never take such an occasion lightly.
It was a beautiful day..until we got to the golf course
Super serious player Bob .
Greg up at bat. He is our fearless leader into battle.
I would watch your back Greg. Molly just had to get grades in by noon...she is a little punchy.
Carey got bored.
Check out the rain! Too bad I couldn't capture the typhoon winds.
Molly dancing a jig. This is the formal celebratory dance of English teachers worldwide.
Molly and Gail are smiling as they dream of the unwashed acne covered 90 lb Freshmen boys who will grace their classrooms next year. Ah, only three months ladies...you can make it!
Have I mentioned how good of a golfer my husband is? He finds nature walks add to his enjoyment of the game.
Another serious golfing moment.
Now THERE is a serious player and so prim and proper like a good schoolmarm.
You just have to put the ball.in.the.hole! Come ON people! This is SERIOUS!
...and just as we are finishing up the round....the sun dramatically breaks through the clouds (and it totally looked like this. I didn't do ANYTHING in Photoshop. LOL...ok, maybe a few dozen things ;-p)
...and on to a great summer!
Sorry, no kid photos today!

thanks Carey for capturing the intensity of this competitive outing!! Great Photos!!!
